Colbert Narcisse was named chief administrative officer for Merrill Lynch Global Origination and chief operating officer for Americas Origination.

Previously, Narcisse was the chief operating officer of Merrill Lynch's global private client group. Meraz, who was previously the managing director of the New York International Complex, succeeded Narcisse. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Meraz oversaw 122 financial advisers who worked in more than 48 countries.

Merrill Lynch is No. 7 in the Top 10 Companies for Asian Americans, No. 8 in the Top 10 Companies for GLBT Employees, No. 2 in the Top 10 Companies for People With Disabilities, and is one of DiversityInc's 25 Noteworthy Companies in 2007.
