Black Vogue Issue a Big Hit in the U.S.

Good luck if you are trying to find a copy of Italian Vogue's July issue, which is dedicated to Black supermodels, running the gamut from Iman and Naomi Campbell to Tyra Banks and Jourdan Dunn. According to Advertising Age, many newsstands are running out of them in New York. There are four issues with different covers, and some people are snapping up a copy of each version, say newsstand operators. Advertising Age says the success of the issue proves wrong those in the U.S. fashion industry who believe Black models on magazine covers don't sell.

I will not support Vogue. They advertise a product that could NOT be found. Black model are not represented ienough in the fashion industry. The White pasty model don't reflect our Global world we live in. I work at IBM and even corporate america understands the importance of representing a global picture..
