Bank of America is a long-time national diversity leader and even as banks face unbelievable turmoil, it continues to maintain its commitment to diversity. Bank of America was the highest-ranked of seven banks on the DiversityInc Top 50 list. |
Despite mergers and economic upheaval, Bank of America has maintained a continuous effort on work-force diversity. Blacks, Latinos and Asians are 44 percent of the work force and 53 percent of new hires.
Bank of America continues to be a progressive leader in implementing innovative work/life benefits, especially those that allow employees more flexibility for family concerns. The company also has first-rate benefits for same-sex domestic partners of employees.
