2012 DiversityInc Special Awards & Top Regional Companies for Diversity
Best Practices From the Best of the Best
Oct. 11–12, 2012, Marriott Marquis, New York City

The Oct. 11 dinner will spotlight eight companies whose unique achievements and diversity-management innovations are examples to all other organizations. CEOs will be accepting these awards at the dinner, attended by more than 400 corporate leaders from at least 20 industries. A networking reception will precede the dinner. The event will also highlight the regional companies that have made our new Top Regional Companies for Diversity list, the results of a smaller survey with only 50 questions focused on the measurable diversity-management accomplishments of companies in specific regions, including Cleveland and Minneapolis. The two-day event will start mid-morning on Oct. 11, with learning sessions and panels focused on “From Accountability to Succession Planning,” how to transform the top level of your organization for improved diversity management. Confirmed speakers for that day include the president and CEO of Kellogg, the U.S. CEO of Accenture, the president of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation and U.S. CEO of Ernst & Young. The second day, which will end after lunch, will feature at least two more CEOs, panels and networking sessions hosted by chief diversity officers who have had significant success transforming the top levels of their companies.
