Industry leaders from across the nation convened in the nation's capital last month for the 17th annual Out & Equal Conference to weigh workplace issues of concern to the LGBT community, to talk about the landmark Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) now in Congress, and to celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBT community along with corporate leaders that enable it. The annual Out & Equal Workplace Awards honor companies and individuals that have demonstrated superior commitment to LGBT workplace inclusion. Nearly half of all award recipients are in or affiliated with the The 2007 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity^®.
